Today was a short but exciting day! Woke up around 8, and got up. Played a lot of Stardew then ate. Got ready and took about an hour long trip to get to Her Majesty's Theatre, because we were watching The Phantom of the Opera! Cailey had absolutely zero experience with anything Phantom related before this. Absolutely amazing start, seeing the broken chandelier come to life and be lifted into the sky as the iconic music intro was played. When intermission came Cailey instantly was talking about how amazing it was and how great the soundtrack was, something to be expected cause it's Phantom lol. Finally finished it and we were both blown away, easy 5/5. It was also the first time Cailey saw an opera production, so she really liked it. I bought souvenirs for Beck, Mom and Grandma Arrington before the show and Cailey decided to not get any cause she hadn't seen the show yet, but by the end she really wanted something to remember the show. A really great and fun date for us!
Took an hour long train ride home and got there about a half hour after Kristin and Matt, cause their train had been delayed by a lot, but they got a full refund on the return trip so they didn't care too much lol. Cooked chicken tenders.... the chicken tenders I was SUPPOSED to cook for dinner. I had just assumed we were having frozen tenders for dinner yesterday, and found a bag of frozen nuggets in the freezer and thought that was it, but apparently not lol. So we cooked some of those for dinner today and Cailey also made herself some pasta. My foot hurt a decent amount after we got back cause a blister was forming so that was fun. Played some pool and going to bed early cause Cailey is tired after a long day.
Tomorrow will be another just us adventure as Kristin isn't interested in the place we're going and Matt is working and they both wanted a rest day before exploring more.
