Cailey's EMT clinical story is crazy. She was over qualified to go, but in order to be able to go you needed to attend an orientation. When she went she realized that she had forgot her ID because it was in an irregular place compared to where she usually kept it, which was in her car. She then had another chance, but got extremely sick, so much so she could walk basically at all. One of my favorite things about Cailey is her lack of ability to give up and to keep pushing when she has a goal. She kept asking and doing everything to prove her worth and did anything and everything in her power, and finally Mr. Hunt allowed her to be scheduled on a free and open day, which was amazing for her! She had so much fun and while not moving around in an ambulance she got to work next to and I think inside one, and she got to work with real EMT's, as opposed to me who was in a triage room. She had a lot of fun and so many stories and people that she got to meet. An unforgettable and perfect experience for an introduction into the emergency medicine field. Her scrubs that were rented out were also really weird fitting on her, because for some reason Mr. Hunt said no to her personal ones, but yes to mine, so she ended up borrowing my scrubs which fit her really well.
